Small lab single screw plastic extruder

The Mini Plastic Extruder is mainly used for experiment, that used for testing and extruding thermo-plastic .It's also can coordinated with the appropriate auxiliary machine,(including the die). This Mini Plastic Extruder is advanced in design, good in plasticization and low in energy consumption. The extruder is characterized by low noise, stable working, big bearing capacity and long service life.

The extruder is mainly composed of: screw, barrel, transmission system, head joint, electrical control box and other parts. 

1.Screw                            

It is a key part to complete the conveying and plasticizing of plastics. Because of its rotation, it pushes the plastics forward, so as to achieve the purpose of compaction, melting, mixing and homogenization. The screw thread is composed of different functional sections to achieve good conveying, compacting, mixing and plasticizing effects and high output. The screw material is made of high-quality nitrided steel (38CrMoALA), which is finished by nitriding and grinding, which has high corrosion resistance and wear resistance and long service life.                                                         

2.Barrel

It is a part paired with the screw. The barrel is made of nitrided steel, and the inner hole is nitrided to achieve higher hardness and better wear resistance, and has a certain corrosion resistance. There are five sets of heaters on the surface, and the heat is transferred from the barrel to the plastic to melt and plasticize the plastic. There are five temperature measuring points in each part of the barrel where the heater is installed, which can be automatically controlled within the plastic processing temperature range. The fifth heating zone is equipped with air circulation cooling, which can accelerate the cooling of the barrel and improve the accuracy of temperature control.           

3. Machine head flange connection body                    
It is the part that connects the machine head and the barrel, and there is a heating ring inside to prevent the cooling of the molten plastic.                   

4.Transmission system                          
The transmission system is to make the screw rotate uniformly with the necessary torque under the selected process conditions to complete the plasticization and transportation of the plastic by the screw. In order to meet the production requirements of various specifications of plastic products, the screw should have different speeds. The machine adopts a variable frequency motor to directly drive the gearbox through a coupling, and uses a governor to realize speed regulation, so that the screw speed can be smoothly and steplessly adjusted within the speed regulation range, and the screw speed can be directly read from the tachometer on the control panel. , can also be read directly on the governor.
